About Moisture Removal Traps

We have emerged as a leading manufacturer, exporter and supplier of superior quality Moisture Removal Traps. These traps are available in various specifications as per the requirements of the clients. Offered traps are manufactured using the best quality raw material with the help of modern technology as per the set industry norms. Apart from this, these Moisture Removal Traps are used for removing moisture from the carrier gas in various industries.

Water condenses in every biogas line and it is critical that this water is bled out of the system without gas loss. Combustion Research Associates designs and manufactures Moisture Traps, that can easily be incorporated into pipework, to bleed this water out.

When gas enters the Moisture Trap, it impinges upon the special created surface with flow reversals, causing coalescence leading to the conversion of moisture into water droplets which in turn fall into the base of Moisture Trap. It also has a mechanical auto-drain system (optional) which drains out the water as it crosses a certain level in the tank.

Salient Features

  • Low Pressure Drop
  • High efficiency with mechanical auto-drain systems
  • Customized sizes range from 2" to 24"
  • An innovative standalone system that works without electicity
  • Easy to install design
  • Approved by leading consultants & agencies

Advanced Moisture Elimination Technology

The moisture removal traps utilize proven separation mechanisms to effectively extract water from compressed air systems. With impressive efficiency, removing up to 99% of moisture, they ensure a dry air supply, preventing corrosion and improving the longevity of downstream equipment. Their robust design also withstands high operational pressures, making them ideal for a wide spectrum of industrial applications.

Versatile Compatibility and Installation

These traps are available in multiple sizes, including 1/2 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch versions, to meet diverse system requirements. Connection options such as screwed, flanged, and customized fittings enable straightforward integration into new or existing compressed air infrastructure, enhancing usability and adaptability for industries in India.

FAQs of Moisture Removal Traps:

Q: How do moisture removal traps function in compressed air systems?

A: Moisture removal traps utilize advanced separation techniques to remove up to 99% of moisture from compressed air, ensuring only dry air passes through, which protects equipment from rust and damage.

Q: What sizes and connection types are available for these traps?

A: These traps come in various sizes, including 1/2 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch inlet/outlet options, and can be connected using screwed, flanged, or customized connections depending on installation needs.

Q: When should I install a moisture removal trap in my air system?

A: It is recommended to install a moisture removal trap whenever consistent dry air supply is critical for equipment performance, especially in systems prone to moisture build-up or operating in humid environments.

Q: Where can these moisture removal traps be used?

A: They are suitable for use in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and any application in India where compressed air is essential and high levels of moisture could impact equipment efficiency.

Q: What is the process of installing a moisture removal trap?

A: Installation involves selecting the appropriate size and connection type, then integrating the trap into the compressed air line at a location prone to moisture accumulation, using standard screwed or flanged connections.

Q: What are the benefits of using a high-efficiency moisture removal trap?

A: The primary benefit is the protection of sensitive machinery and instruments from moisture-induced damage, which enhances equipment lifespan, minimizes maintenance needs, and helps maintain optimal performance.
